OPPORTUNITY
Comprehensive Community Based
Rehabilitation in Tanzania (CCBRT) is a locally registered NGO first
established in 1994. It is the largest indigenous provider of disability
rehabilitation services in the country. CCBRT aims to improve the quality of
life of people living with disabilities as well as their families and to enable
them to achieve their legitimate potential.
CCBRT is expanding its service
portfolio to also provide maternal and newborn healthcare. With support from
international partners, CCBRT in collaboration with the regional health
management team is improving the quality of maternal and newborn healthcare at
16 facilities in Dar es Salaam region and strengthening the prevention of
disability and the delivery of early intervention services. The construction of
the maternity and newborn (Baobab) hospital has started.
CCBRT is now looking for:
Communications Manager
Requirements:
·
University degree (such as Social Sciences, English, Communications)
·
Excellent spoken and written communication skills including fluency in English
(oral and written) preferably native English
Skills and Experience:
·
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Publisher, Excel and PowerPoint
·
Ability to use/implement other social media tools such as blogging, twitter,
facebook
·
Knowledge of health, disability and development issues
Responsibilities:
·Develop
an external Communications strategy and integrate already existing
communications systems and procedures.
·Increase
awareness of CCBRT and its varied work locally and worldwide
·
Handle media relations for ongoing campaigns and specific events to ensure that
key messages are reaching stakeholders and clients.
Develop and cement corporate relationships
with national and international health media journalists
Source speaking opportunities for

Establish / update editorial

1.
Sales Coordinator
·
Keep up to date with global, local and environmental issues impacting your city
and hotel.
·
Develop the Reservations and FO team to maximise revenue on every call.
·
Ensure the reservation team are aware of all revenue targets and are kept
informed of performance results.
·
Check competitor strategy on a regular basis reviewing rates and availability.
·
Update regularly selling scripts to ensure user friendly and maximising key
benefits.
·
Using knowledge, aid decision making re alternate business both strategically
and on a tactical basis.
·
Ensure a high level of communication is maintained between the Guest relations
team members and all other areas of the hotel.
·
Supervise day to day operations ensuring standards are adhered to and
maintained.
·
Ensure a consistently high standard of presentation is maintained for both the
department and personnel.
·
Actively solicit customer feedback and is responsible for the daily internal

·
Monitor results from LQA & TRZ G.S.T.S. and implement procedures to enhance
results
·
Ensure a high level of product knowledge of the hotel and local area.
·
Actively participate in customer driven events, e.g. cocktail parties.
·
Focus team on hospitality and customer service.
·
Carry out interviews for all prospective Front Desk personnel to ensure they
are customers focused.
·
Planning, coordination and implementing of all sales trips in the country by
agreement with the GM.
·
Represents the hotel at national and international specialist trade fairs and
workshops, agreed by the GM and in coordination with the Paris office.
·
Regular visits and agreements with large and prestigious guests, identification
of potential new accounts and assuring the corresponding sales activities to
win these guests.
·
Organization and management of promotions, site inspections and fair trips.
·
Ensures permanent observation of the market and competitors, involvement in
drawing up analyses of competitors and statistics.
·
Planning, organization of written, telephone and personal contacts with guests
and supervision of these contacts.
Minimum Qualifications:
·
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Business or Marketing
·
2 year experience in a similar position
·
Previous work experience in the hospitality industry is necessary.
·
Ability to work well under pressure

JOB TITLE: ACCOUNTING
MANAGER

Job aim
The ideal candidate will be responsible for all areas relating
to financial reporting. This position will be responsible for developing and
maintaining accounting principles, practices and procedures to ensure accurate
and timely financial statements will be also responsible for managing the team
to ensure tasks are allocated and completed in a timely and accurate manner.
This position addresses tight deadlines and a multitude of accounting
activities including general ledger preparation, financial reporting, year end
audit preparation and the support of budget and forecast activities. Will also be required to assist the Country manager with the
implementation of the necessary financial control measures in accordance with
the Company’s policies and procedures and general accepted accounting practice
and internationally recognized best practices within the coffee industry.
Main duties and responsibilities:
·
Daily accounting operations,
including accounts payable, invoicing/accounts receivable, fixed assets/depreciation,
general ledger and banking/cash management, expense administration
·
Timely preparation of
company financials and all financial reporting requirements, including reports
for management and bank
·
Financial analysis including
cash flow analysis
·
Development and tracking of
KPIs (key performance indicators)
·
Budgeting and variance
analysis for both operating and capital budgets
·
Tax preparation and payment
·
Bank
reporting/administration of outside financing
·
To establish and maintain
financial and management accounting procedures.
·
Ensure that appropriate
financial regulations and controls are in place and in use at all times.
·
Ability to handle internal
audits and also coordinates external audit materials for external financial
reports
·
Make regular reports for the
Management on income, expenditure and any variations from budgets.
Qualifications and experience:
·
Preferred Candidate with
CPA/ or and MBA with back ground in accounting and finance field
·
Must have experience in
procurement/supply chain management
·
At least 5 years relevant
experience in accounting and finance function
·
Work experience in a coffee
industry will be value added advantage.
·
Experience of financial
responsibility for budgeting, accounting guidelines, creating end of year
accounts and external liaison with auditors.
·
Ability to develop, monitor
and maintain management information systems and procedures.
·
Ability to handle and
maintain any new accounting, timekeeping, payroll, inventory, property, or
related procedures, systems and controls.
Other skills:
·
Proven ability to provide
support, guidance and training to colleagues.
·
Must possess strong
analytical skills.
·
Must be able to prioritize
tasks and make important decisions in a dynamic work environment.
