Position Description:
The NHC/PPF IPS Building Company Limited is incorporated under the Companies Ordinance Law of the United Republic ofTanzania (Cap 212) to undertake real estate business. The Company which is jointly owned by the National Housing Corporation (NHC) and PPF Pensions Fund (PPF), is keen to reinvigorate itself into a major player in real estate business. '
The Company is seeking to recruit suitably qualified, dynamic, innovative and committed individuals to fill the senior management positions. The successful candidates are expected to take up the challenge of steering the Company to a higher level and thus lead it towards achieving its mission. The positions to be filled include, General Manager, Finance and Administration Manager, and Real Estate Manager.
Finance and Administration Manager (NHC/PPF NO.FAM)
The Finance and Administration Manager (FAM) shall report to the General Manager and shall have the overall responsibility of the company's financial management and accounting; budgeting and budget control; preparation of periodic financial reports; administrative matters including human resource management; and procurements.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare, monitor and evaluate budgetary activities;
Oversee the timely preparation of periodical financial, human resources and procurement reports.
Invest financial resources 'in ventures with optimal returns.
Qualifications and Experience
The applicant should be a holder of a Degree in Commerce or Business. Administration majoring in Accountancy or Finance and must have a professional accounting qualifications such as CPA (T), ACCA or its equivalent as well as knowledge of labor matters. Applicants should have at least 3 years working experience in a similar role in reputable institution(s). Computer literacy and especially accounting and financial analysis I computer models are compulsory.
Employment Terms:All positions are based on three (3) years contract renewable upon satisfactory performance
Remuneration:An attractive remuneration package will be offered to the successful candidate in each of the positions.
